Beach To Beacon
This race is in Cape Elizabeth at Fort Williams State Park. It has been on for about sixteen years. You've probably seen it in the news. It's very hard to get registered for this race. You can register on-line, but in about 60 minutes it's full. That's why Alyssa's name tag says Kirk. She borrowed it from a friend, who didn't end up running. My sister has run it about six times. This is Alyssa's first time doing this one and her biggest race so far. It is a 10k, about 6.2 miles. She is training for a half marathon and she's doing great. She beat the time she had down for herself. I believe their is about 6,000 runners. It's a lot of fun to go watch. A couple of doctors from my office also run in this one. Alyssa was behind one by only about 6 seconds and quite a bit ahead of the other one. "Sorry, Chris." Here's Maggie cheering for everyone.
"Andrew, I have another video of you, but I can't get it down loaded. I'm going to keep trying though."
