A Walk With William

We had William for a couple of hours Thursday night. It was a beautiful evening, so the two of us took a walk, before dinner. He loves looking up at the big trees as we walk underneath them. Of course we talked together as we walked. I love that he's smiling and cooing now. He's such a good baby. p.s Dad, I don't know if you know this but if you click on the picture or even on the slide show, it will get bigger and easier for you to see. He's a cutie pie.

Scooter Time

Mom and Dad Russell and Aunt Donna came over for a visit on Saturday afternoon. We had some great food and a very nice visit. Caleb was focused on getting Grampie outside on the scooter. Well, he did and here he is explaining to Grampie how to ride a scooter. I love how he looks at Dad's feet to make sure he's doing it right.

Big Boy

This is William on the right sitting with his little friend. These two are three days apart and wearing the same size clothes. He is such a big boy:-)16lbs and 10oz at three months old. As I've said before, just more of him to love.

Sebago Lake

We rented a pontoon boat on Sebago Lake on Tuesday of our vacation.  It was just the three of us, it was a gorgeous day, and we had so much fun!
We drove around for a bit to get the feel of the boat. When we got out really deep, we stopped to jump in off of the boat.  It so refreshing! Caleb was a little timid of the water because it was so deep. I helped him ease his way into the water a little bit. He sat on me, as we hung onto the ladder. I'm not sure if he ever did let go completely that time. I just didn't want him to be scared.

Then of course, he did some driving with Daddy.
We docked the boat over in the shallow water, to take another swim and have some lunch. That was it, that was all it took for him to feel secure in the water by himself. He needed to be able to see the bottom.

He did a great job, as you can see.
David, underneath the boat.
And here he is back in the DEEP water, not afraid anymore. We definitely want to do this again. It was great, although David forgets he doesn't have much hair on top anymore and his head gets fried.

Happy Birthday

Happy 1st Birthday to Sawyer. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Sawyer, Happy Birthday to you!!!
Glad to see that your family is back together. I bet you missed each other so much.  Enjoy your time back together. Have a great day celebrating Sawyer's Birthday. Make sure you give him hugs and kisses from his Uncle Dave, Aunt Michelle and Cousin Caleb. Aeli too of course.

Deering Oaks Park

On Monday we were having a new sliding glass door installed in our kitchen and didn't want to stray too far. We headed to Portland to the Deering Oaks Park. It's all new play equipment and we hadn't tried it out yet. Caleb laid with William for a few minutes before we headed out.
David liked the new stuff:-)

After we played here for a little while Amanda said, there was a water area where the kids could go wading. That was just what we needed, because it was another hot day. I had no idea this place existed . It was really cool, for parents and kids. I guess it's been here for years. Who knew?? Not many because it wasn't too busy. It's free and the kids loved it. The water squirts up in all different areas at different times. Lots of surprises and laughter.

Smiling Hill Farm

We went to Smiling Hill Farm on Sunday. They had a lot of really neat play structures to play on/in. We had lunch and checked out all the animals. Then before we left, we of course had to have some of their fresh ice-cream.

Margaret And William

Just a few pictures of Maggie going down her slide and into her pool, in the back yard.

Some more of our growing William. Again pictures from my phone, not to good.

Here's a little video of William for you Dad. You can't be here so I try to make it seem like you are. He isn't really doing anything too significant, but moving around and watching baseball.
