Hiking Douglas Mountain

We went to Douglas Mountain on Saturday to do some hiking. Douglas Mountain is in Baldwin, Me. It was a beautiful day to be out in nature. We found all kinds of things. The kids had a great time. They both did surprisingly well. Caleb climbed just about the whole way up. Every once in awhile, he'd say, "My legs are tired, we need to take a little break." He was awesome! He chatted the whole time we were hiking up, nobody else had to say anything. He made us all laugh. We found a couple of very large rocks that the kids loved climbing on. There was a brook that we had to get over, they liked walking from rock to rock to get across it. We stopped and had a picnic lunch. At the top of the mountain, there was a tower you could climb up. Caleb wanted to know if there was a princess up there:-) Nope she must have already been rescued. It was a great day!
