A Walk To The Park

Sunday was a beautiful day, so we decided to take the kids for a walk to the park. Caleb chose his scooter and Maggie rode her bike.

   I love this picture of William, he's just dozing of into sleep and boom, Auntie snaps the camera. The way he sucks those two fingers is too cute.

My wonderful, thoughtful Sister bought these Mums for me on Sunday. It was a great surprise. They look so beautiful.

Michelle Marie...

got her driver's license today!!! YAY, for Michelle! She's had her permit for quite some time, but she's waited this long to send in and take her test.  She did it today and she's very excited. Another milestone into adulthood. Congratulations Michelle Marie.

Saco Pumpkin Festival

This was the 10th annual Pumpkin Fest. I didn't think it was as good as the last couple of years, but just seeing the kids all dressed up is always fun. These three especially:-) William looks adorable, Maggie is so pretty like a princess, and Caleb, well he's just ALL boy and this fits him perfectly.

This picture was taken before they were all ready, but Caleb said, "Look he's holding my hand." Couldn't resist.

The perfect Dorothy and Cowardly Lion. She has her hair all braided with the matching bows too. Love seeing his little toes poking out:-)

They had an ocean touch tank for the kids. Caleb wanted to hold the starfish.

Happy Birthday Rob

 Friday night we went to the farm to celebrate Rob's 35th Birthday. The kids had a great time together. These cousins don't get to see much of each other and they both get so excited when they do. Aeli decorated her Daddy's cake with Grammie. WOW!!! Doesn't it look yummy :-)

Auntie's Little Man

4 1/2 months old now. Tomorrow he has a well child check up, we'll see how much he's up to now. His two little bottom teeth are coming up through.

 He's such a good boy.

A Birthday Party

Caleb was invited to his friend Jack's Birthday Party on Saturday. They go to pre-school together, Jack lives in Durham. This is Caleb's second birthday party with school friends. Mom took him to the first one, this one Dad got to attend. 

Alyssa's 1/2 Marathon

Alyssa did such a great job!! We're all so proud of her. She trained with Christine, she is in some of the pictures with Alyssa. They actually ran Beach To Beacon together. Alyssa ran at a pace of 8:27 per mile, came in 485th place over all,  171st place out of all the women. She ran a total time of 1:50:36. Which is a great time, never mind it being your first. She was in the top 14% of women runners.
Amanda caught her at mile 12, just to encourage her. Amanda didn't run it this time, even though she could have. Amanda has already asked her to train with her for the next marathon...26 miles. Not sure if now is the time to ask her. She's a little sore.

Marathon

There is a marathon-1/2 marathon in Portland at 7:45 on October 3rd, which is tomorrow. Alyssa is going to do her first 1/2 marathon, 13 miles. I'm so proud of her. She's been training for months. It's an early morning for all of us to get up and be out on a Sunday, but we are all going to be there to cheer her on.  I'm so nervous and excited for her. I can't wait.
