More Caleb

Caleb, just hanging out in his room, waiting for us to go to Grammie's Party. He put on his teddy bear's sunglasses that Aunt Donna bought him.

Just looking cute.Playing some ball with Uncle Rob.

Grammie's 95th Birthday

(Just wanted to take a minute between packing to put these pictures up for you to see. Today SplashTown, tomorrow camping.) Sunday, Mom had a nice surprise for Grammie's birthday. She sat her in the living room and people just kept coming in to visit her. It was like a receiving line of visitors. People she hasn't seen in a long time, family she hasn't seen in a long time. She was very surprised and very happy. It all went well. Everyone had a nice time.
Awwww, Caleb gives his Great Grammie a birthday kiss.
Grammie puts the first cut in her cake, with a little help from her son Ray.

Caleb And Maggie In The Pool

Who knew a $15.00 kiddie pool could make two kids this happy. Love these kids so much. They always put a smile on my face and in my heart.

The Morning After

We had a sleepover and went to bed way too late and only slept until 7. Here they are waiting for me to cook them breakfast. Maggie wanted scrambled eggs and Caleb wanted pancakes. (Yes, Maggie is sitting in William's chair.)
Here they are enjoying breakfast together. Notice Maggie's mutli-colored nails(toes and fingers). This is something special that Only Auntie does with Maggie. We've had pink and red, then we tried some blue on the fourth of July. This time we did a rainbow of colors. Also, notice their Silly Bands. I guess it's the new rave. They like 'em.

Happy 4th Anniversary To Amanda And Andrew

These two have been together since 7th and 8th grade! I'll have to dig up the picture I have of them at Amanda's 8th grade graduation. Andrew was in 7th and much shorter than her:-) It's very cute.

Every year David and I watch Maggie, so the two of them can go out and enjoy their anniversary. This year it was Maggie AND William. They bring me such joy:-) Caleb was actually with us this year too. We had lots of fun. Maggie absolutely adores Caleb, it's so fun to sit and watch the two of them.

Another Fun Day At The Beach

Another hot day in Maine and where's the best place to be...the beach of course. Amanda, Maggie and I picked up some sandwiches and headed over.  (William stayed home with his Daddy.) We were in the water the whole time. Just like Caleb, Maggie loves to just jump and run from the waves. Who needs shovels and pails, when there are big waves to run from.  The water was great, so refreshing and to just see and hear Maggie laugh and giggle was awesome.  She kept telling Amanda and I she was going surfing:-)

A couple of times, she thought the waves were going to get her. Look her facial expression in this one.

Amanda, Alyssa, and William

Dad, this one's for you.  Amanda stops by the house sometimes during the day, to feed William. Alyssa is home at this time and knows how much I love the kids, so she sends these pictures to me at work. Like haha, don't you wish you were home with us. Well Ya!!! Anyway, here are the girls trying to wake William up for his feeding. Poor little guy he's trying to sleep, it's not like he's starving for anything;-)

And then of course we have to get some silly shots, mouth open, tongue out. You must miss these shots, huh Dad!
He gets cuter everyday:-).

Picnic At The Beach

Thursday night Amanda suggested packing a lunch and going to the beach for dinner.  We had done that a few times last year before William was born. Amanda needed a good beach fix anyway, since she hasn't been at all this summer.  My Thursday night class got switched to Wednesday nights, so I finally have a free night again to get together once a week for dinner, and this was a great way to start it. This is also a milestone for William, his very first time at the beach!!!

Like Mother like Daughter. Maggie definitely got her Mother's mouth.

Maggie and I went for a walk together and I introduced her to her shadow. I guess at one point Maggie put her bathing suit on, thought she was going to go swimming with her Dad.
Me and my best girl!
Maggie and I  also played in the waves, laughing a lot as we tried not to get caught by them.
David got some good shots of the sun going down. Trying out his latest IPhone 4, which has an awesome camera and video.

Swim Time

We celebrated the fourth with the Russell family on the fifth. Another gorgeous day to spend near a huge body of water. The pool was so nice, so refreshing. We brought Maggie with us, so she could play with Aeli and swim in the pool. Plus, I just wanted  to spend more time with her myself. It's always nice to see everyone. As usual the food was great, thank you everyone.

Fourth Of July

We spent the fourth of July upta the Tripp camp again.  It was just a small group this year. It's so peaceful and it was so hot, this was the perfect place to be. It was kind of sad without Caleb, he had such a great time last year and the kids were asking where he was too. I guess we have to share him with his other family too. He'll be with us again next year:-)
Well, the guys had a great time out on the dock. I think they were trying to see if they could tip it over. That was a negative. They sure had a good time trying though.
The guys have had enough, they're coming in from play time:-)
Here is Quinn eating his snack all alone in the clubhouse.
Amanda playing Ring Around The Rosie in the water with Maggie and Lindsey. Isabelle didn't want to play, she is going to be a kindergartener this year. The Tripp family going out for a canoe ride, while William sleeps.
William has found his thumb. This is actually the second or third time I've seen him find it. He's so freaking cute. Here is Isabelle holding him, she loves holding babies.
Eating dinner and then later on doing sparklers. I'm not really sure what Maggie thought about them?
It was a fabulous day!!! I hope everyone had a safe and happy fourth. I got to spend my time with some of the people I love most, what more could I ask for.
