A Day At The Beach

Rob, Beth and the kids came over on Sunday. We planned on eating an early lunch and then going to the beach. We got everything outside on the table for our barbecue and then it started, first sprinkles and then it really started to rain. We brought everything inside and had to have lunch in there:-( Although, as soon as we got done eating, the rain had stopped and it turned out to be a beautiful beach day. We had a great time together.  I don't think Caleb or Aeli got out of the water for more than a minute. They just ran in and ran out, screeching all the way. Sawyer even liked the water! I have to say, it really wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. Can't believe I just said that!

Sawyer

Beth, Rob, Aeli, and Sawyer came over for a nice visit today, from Boothbay. We had lunch together and then we spent the afternoon at the beach(pictures to come). I could not resist taking a shot of Sawyer eating his lunch.  Even a mess this kid is adorable. He is so good too!!

Kids Dance Party

Kirk and Abby's Barbecue

Abby and Kirk invited us over for a barbecue on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and evening. There were quite a few kids there, nine I think. They all got along wonderfully. No conflicts at all, all evening. Caleb, Cole, and Maggie are like the three amigos, they play so well together. It's great.  We ate, chit chatted, watched the kids play, made some Smores and then the dance party began. We had a private show from these hot little dancers:-) It was very funny, as you can see in a couple of these videos. For some reason I can only download one video. I'm going to post this and try another video on another post. We'll see what happens. In this one Caleb is attempting to breakdance and Isabelle is doing The Sprinkler.

Happy Father's Day

Unfortunately, Caleb was taking a nap at the time of the family Father's Day picture, but we got one with his Daddy and Grampie.

Toy Story 3 "3D"

Fantastic movie!! I've always thought Toy Story was the best Pixar film. This one did it even more justice. It was the best out of all of them. I was curious to see how Caleb would do in the theatre and having to wear the glasses. He did great and loved every moment. I wish I could have gotten a picture of him with the glasses on. They look funny on everyone, but on his little face it was even funnier.

Playing Frisbee

He does a great job catching now, but even when he doesn't catch it...look at that throw. This is what he wants to do all the time now. Just to see how many times he can catch it. When he doesn't catch it, he says we throw it wrong. Why of course;-)

Uncle DD and William

Caleb Helps William

William had been up for like 4 hours, he was getting tired and started to cry. Caleb was watching him and helped give him his binky, so he would stop crying. Every time it fell out of his mouth Caleb would put it back for him.

I'm not sure how much Maggie liked Caleb giving her brother this much attention, but she didn't stray too far away.

We were asking Caleb how he liked the baby, him being another boy and all. He said, he was going to have a brother. I said, Oh really. Mommy might want to know about that. haha

Monkey See, Monkey Do

A UPS truck drove by, honked her horn and the kids both waved. They decided they must wait for her to come back and honk and wave again. So, here they wait together.

He rings his bell, then she rings her bell. He stops, she stops. They're pretty funny to watch.
Maggie is really happy that Caleb has to go slow and wait for her, at least until they get to the end of the road. Then he's off, but notice he and then she stop and look both ways for cars.

William's Awake

These were taken with my iphone, which I've decided is not a very good camera. Some, are dark and some are light, but they're all very cute. He was awake for quite a bit tonight(Friday night). Today he was awake for like 4 hours. Enjoy our sweet boy:-)

William Takes A Nap With Auntie

Here he is with his Mommy, right after some nice warm milk. Then I get to take him, I look at him for awhile, check out his little fingers and toes, then we lay down together. He is so precious!

First his fingers are all crunched up, then he spreads them out. He grunts and groans the whole time he's sleeping.

Alyssa Does A Road Race

Alyssa does this race every year. She used to do it with my sister but...a couple babies later, she just hasn't started back up yet. I have no doubt she will though. Anyway, this year was a beautiful night. Here is her friend Erin who comes to cheer her on.And of course of her Momma was cheering her on. David too, but he took pics this time.

Doesn't she look great after running three miles. Her goal was to beat 22 minutes. She ran it in 21.10. We were all so proud of her, so was she.

She even got a second place trophy this year. Yay Alyssa!!!
