Time With Friends

We went over to Abby and Kirks' Friday night, so the kids could play together. The first thing Caleb did was put this hat on. He wore it for quite some time.

I had some awake time with William and asked David to snap some pics. He is such a little old man(Will not David, haha).

More William Pics

Maggie and I spent the day together today. I picked her up about 9 and we played outside, she rode her bike and we played at the park. We ate lunch together and played some more. Amanda could you use the rest and Maggie and I enjoyed ourselves very much. Amanda came over a little later on with Will. While Maggie took a nap, Will stayed awake. I swear he was up for over an hour. I just held him and watched him. I don't know how much he can he actually see just yet, but his eyes were moving all around. You could tell he was listening to all the sounds around him. He is so beautiful.
These first two are kind of blurry, because he just kept bopping his head around. He is so friggen cute.

Happy 3rd Birthday To Margaret

Today was Maggie's 3rd birthday. We didn't have a party today, but we will celebrate it this weekend. Caleb will be able to be with us and Amanda will have had a little time to get used to having William home. I made some dinner for Amanda and Andrew tonight and just brought over some cupcakes so we could sing Happy Birthday and let her blow out a candle.

William's First Full Day Home

Caught him in the middle of some gas or a good dream.
He's ready to eat and Alyssa's arm doesn't have anything for him.

William's Second Day

I love him so much already. It's amazing how this little person comes into your life and you fall right in love. He was still really sleepy today, but I did get to stare down into his eyes and listen to him make those little noses with his tongue sticking in and out. His face is less purple today, more red.

William Tripp May 20th 2010

Proud Auntie
He came out pretty quickly, so his face is a little bruised and purplish in color.

What a beautiful family!
The little bundle of joy.

He's Here, He's Here!

We have a new baby in our family, his name is William. I believe he will be called Will. He's the first boy in our family (except for Caleb, of course) since my little brother, 38 years ago. William was 8lbs and 1oz. He is 21 1/2 inches long. He's a bruiser compared to Maggie, who weighed in at 6lbs 14 oz. Happy Birthday William! Three days before his big Sister's birthday.
When we first went into the hospital room, I tried to go in and see how Maggie was, give her lots of my attention first. I gave her a big hug and tried to talk to her for a minute, but she wanted us to," Come see my brother."
I am so proud of my sister, she did a great job and she is such a wonderful Mother. Love you Mandy Pandy:-)
Pictures to come, as soon as I can get them loaded!!

Our First 2010 Beach Day

What a beautiful day we had on Sunday. We decided to go to the beach and have a picnic lunch and play in the sand. We packed up towels, sunscreen and Caleb's beach toys and off we went. Caleb wanted to wear his new SpiderMan bathing suit but David said, "No, we're not going swimming, it's not summer, we're just going to play in the sand." On the way there Caleb and David were discussing the swimming topic. So David told Caleb again, " It is not summer and the water is too cold to go swimming in." Of course when we got there, Caleb had to dip his feet. The more he dipped, the more wet he got. What can you do? If he was brave enough to get wet, might as well go for it. As you can see by his expressions, it was darn cold. He had a great time though. Next time, I think we'll let him wear his bathing suit:-)David and Caleb also did some building. What a gorgeous day! I love summer fun.

Still Nothing

That little nephew of mine isn't ready to come out just yet, by the looks of things. I can tell you that Amanda sure is ready for him to GET OUT! She went to the doctor's today and still nothing. Believe it or not, they are picking a day this week and she is going to be induced. I'm not sure why they do that now. She's not overdue or anything, but I guess it's safe to come out. They really want a little space between his birth and Maggie's birthday. Which is May 23rd. We'll see what happens. I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Another Prom For Michelle

Michelle my bell was asked to the prom again this year. Only this year she went to the prom at a different school, so I told her I would not buy her another dress. I figured nobody at this school would have seen this one, so why not. She understood and agreed. That was a nice change:-) Next year will be HER senior prom and then we'll get another one. Here are some of the shots I got this time. A nice back shot. It's a beautiful dress.
Quite a group, huh!
Me and my baby.
This is her date Jordan. This poor guy has Mono, in this picture and still. He felt awful, but he wasn't going to miss his senior prom. I hope there was no kissing going on, because she'll have it next.
This is their Hummer Limo. I guess it's got to be big to fit all of them in there.

Planting/Digging With Caleb

I got this Rododendrun plant from a co-worker. She brought it into the office and it sat there, in water for about 2 weeks. I kept forgetting to bring it home, until they told me that it wouldn't root in water. You've got to put it in dirt before it dies. I brought it home so I could plant it on Friday. I just started to dig, when Caleb came over and said, he wanted to help. I gave him my pink gardening gloves and off he went. He loves helping out and being involved. After he finished digging the hole, we put the plant in it. He covered it all up and patted it all down, then watered it. Now that's it planted, hopefully it won't die.

Well, he didn't want to stop there. He had gloves and a shovel and he wanted to do more. I told him he could dig some holes a little bit further back in the yard, so he started digging up rocks. Then he found this really big one, that I didn't think he could dig up. Well...
He did. He was so proud that he got that thing out. He carried it around, put it in his dump truck, then he said he wanted to bring it to his Mommy and show her. We did put it in a bag for her, but I noticed today that it's still here, in a bag, in the dump truck:-) Oh well!

Maggie And ...What's His Name

Well, Amanda is due anytime now. Last week she was only one centimeter dilated, now she's three. She's heading in the right direction. I'm going to be waiting anxiously by the phone. Our little Maggie is turning into a big sister, right before our eyes. She gave up her binkies(mailed them to some needy babies, somewhere)she just got a big girl bed and I just talked to her on the phone. It's not like talking to a little toddler anymore. She talks in complete sentences now. Asks me, "Auntie, what are you doing?" always asks what Caleb and DD are doing too. Tells me what she had for dinner, what she did today. She's amazing! If she feels left out at all, after this baby is born, she can just come and stay with her Auntie!
And hopefully by the time he comes, his Mommy and Daddy will have picked a name for the little guy.
Stand by for more baby updates...

Mom And Her Boys

This is a great family picture. You all look so nice! Happy Mother's Day.
