Happy 17th Birthday

Well another year has come and gone. My youngest baby(my Michelle) is now 17 years old. Where does the time go? We had a nice time together today. Did some shopping and had dinner. She makes me laugh more than any other person I know. She is such a smart, strong and very beautiful young women. I love her so very much. Here she is with her best friend Cubby, then and now.

Flying A Kite

Here is Caleb's first time flying a kite. The videos are in the wrong order, so the one with David handing off the kite, is his first flight. He does great.(you might want to turn the volume down or off, because I was right in the speaker)

Fun By The River

On Monday we went to The Peek A Boo Children's Center in Westbrook. It's in the old mill there, the space is fantastic for something like this. It has a lot of different rooms with different play stations, that the kids can go to and use their imagination. They keep it very clean. Although, I think it's geared more for younger children, Caleb and Maggie enjoyed themselves for a little while. Then we went outside by the river and these two just ran around and laughed together. I got some great pictures of them laughing. Maggie lost her shoe at one point and thought that it was so funny that she did it a couple more times on purpose.

Caleb's New, Favorite Toy

My sister's shower was on Sunday, so David and Caleb had the day to themselves. Here is what they accomplished. This Firehouse!
Caleb has Legos in his room and we build with them quite often, but there is only so much you can build with so many. They're a lot of fun and we've been thinking about getting more for awhile. They're just so darn expensive, but apparently they broke down and got some.
I cannot believe the details these things have. They have beds, coffee pots, a television, breathing tubes for the firemen's masks and there is even a recycling bin out front. This firehouse took them about 3-4 hours to build. Over 600 little tiny pieces. They had a great time doing it together. Caleb wanted to sleep with it, he had a hard time going to sleep, because he just wanted to play with it. It's awesome!

More time playing it with it on Monday. He couldn't get enough. It's great seeing them enjoy time together. Hours of entertainment.

Amanda's Shower

We had a nice little baby shower for Amanda on Sunday. Just something small with close friends. She has most of the big stuff, but just needed some "boy" essentials. And of course the double stroller, that will be a necessity. Still no name for the little guy. They have about 5 weeks left. At this point today, there are three choices.

Here's another type of diaper cake.(not as good mine, I have to say)

Trying hard not to drop her egg.
Oh, careful!

I can do this.

Hmmm, what's Daddy doing?

Ice Cream Night

We went out for ice cream Saturday night and Maggie decided she liked mine better. Here she is holding and trying to eat this big, waffle cone ice cream. It was pretty funny.
