Caleb Singing In The Car

I showed this video to Maggie the other night and she just kept saying, "More again!" She loves Caleb and asks about him all the time. Whenever we get together she says, "Auntie, DD, Ca-leb, like we should come as a group. She thought this video was quite funny, so we watched it a few times. I thought maybe Grammie and Grampie would get a kick out of it too.

We were driving in the car and he was just singing away. He's been changing and growing a lot over the last month or so. He's gained a great imagination.

Michelle Marie Got A New Haircut

Michelle has had long hair, down her back forever. She's been cutting it shorter and shorter over the last year. A few months ago, she cut it shoulder length and this time it's really short. I'm not a big fan of this hairstyle, but she looks beautiful. These pictures didn't come out very well, but here they are.

Portland Headlight

This is a beautiful place to go visit. My daughter Ashley had her senior prom pictures taken here, in front of the lighthouse. They came out beautiful. Today was an amazing day to be here. The waves were incredible to watch. There were so many people here watching the waves and taking pictures of them from every angle.

Going Out For Ice Cream

He looks so serious eating that ice-cream cone

Saturday At The Beach

This child absolutely loves the ocean! He has so much fun just running away from the waves. It's fun to sit and watch him. Of course this weekend the waves were bigger than usual, so you had to watch even more closely. He was singing and laughing and just being goofy. We had a great time!

Uncle Dave and Ant Michelle

Holding our first nephew, Baby Sawyer:-) You'd think working in a pediatric office I'd seen enough babies. No way!! They are such special gifts. Each one so precious and so perfect. Their little fingers and toes, their tiny mouth and nose, even their little fingernails and eyelashes. We are all so truly blessed to have such perfect, healthy and wonderful children. Enjoy every minute that you can while they're little. Because one day, you'll turn around and they're all grown up.
Caleb will be very happy to have another boy around. He's always surrounded by girls.

Happy Birthday Baby Sawyer

Beth and Rob welcomed Baby Sawyer into the world this morning!!! He was born at 4:51 am and weighed in at 71bs. Both parents and baby are doing fine. He's just perfect! We are a proud Aunt and Uncle for the 3rd time around:-) More babies to love! Aelia is the proudest big Sister, I've ever seen. She kept telling us, and Sawyer how much she loved him. It was very special!

Playing Up High

Wow, I can see everything up here:-)

Story Land

We braved the ride to Glen, NH with two little ones in the car. It was quite a haul, but we made it through.
I think most of us have been to Story Land as children ourselves. We all have fond memories, so we want to take our own children and make memories with them. I know I took all of my girls there, a few times, as they were growing up. Now it's time to make memories for Caleb and Maggie. Not much has changed, they just keep adding more attractions. Believe it or not, neither Caleb or Maggie would sit with Cinderella. So, we had to make it a group photo. Because when you go to Story Land, you've just got to have your picture taken with Cinderella. Caleb enjoyed milking the cow, but because they have water in it instead of milk, he thought it was pee. That was something:-) The weather held up for us and we made a day of it. The ride home was very quiet.

Splashtown

Today Amanda and I took Maggie to Splashtown. We met a couple of friends there with their little ones. It was a perfect day to be there, surrounded by water, because it was such hot day. I guess Isabelle never gets her head wet, so she was very excited to be able to stand under all of the waterfalls. All of the kids got a chance to go on one "big" water slide and they loved it!!

Auntie Buys Maggie A New Bike

I bought Maggie a new bike the other day, so when Caleb is riding his bike she has something to ride too. She's not quite tall enough to reach the pedals, but she likes it. She just has me push her around instead.(not quite what I was looking for, but she'll grow)
David said our yard is starting to look like we have a daycare. I can assure you, we do not:-)!!
