He Just Keeps Her Laughing:-)

Remember when you were little and a boy would tease you, or even hit you. You would go home and tell your Mom and she would say, if he hits you it means he likes you. Well, here's an example and by Maggie's expression I guess somebody already told her, but she doesn't want him to know that she knows;-) Her expressions are so funny!

Here are some special moments with some special Fathers.

Playing In The Yard

I went to a couple of yard sales this morning, while David went to get Caleb. I have a hard time passing up a yard sale. I got a basketball hoop, a bubble lawn mower, this little t-ball game, a shopping cart and a little toy tool-box full of tools for Caleb and Maggie to play with. I made out like a bandit. Here we are in the yard this morning trying them all out. Caleb likes to be the big boy and show Maggie how to do everything, before she even gets a chance to try it. Although, I have to say he is doing better with the sharing and taking turns. Then he wanted to push her around in the stroller, she didn't mind.

Fun At The Beach

Well, after playing in the yard we decided to go get something to eat for lunch. As a rule I don't normally go to OOB, but my sister suggested Pier Fries and pizza, so off we went. We didn't intend on going down to the beach either, but how could we pass it up being so close. The kids had a great time. Caleb absolutely loves running in the ocean waves and Maggie loves watching him:-)

Sprinkler Fun

It's that time of year again, warm enough to cool off under freezing cold water. At least for the little ones. Caleb had a great time playing with the sprinkler and loved being sprayed by his Daddy with the hose. His laughter is a great noise!! I love to hear him laugh!

Maggie and Caleb Having Fun

We went to the Tripp's for a visit Saturday evening. Caleb and Maggie are too funny to watch together. Caleb shows off to make Maggie laugh and then she tries to do what he does and makes us laugh. He was throwing himself on the ground and in the bushes while she was chasing him, pretending he was falling. She started to do it and she had us cracking up. They love to be pushed around on the toys by Andrew. The faster and crazier he goes, the better they like it. Here is Maggie falling and loving it.

Alyssa Does A Road Race

This is Alyssa's friend Erin who also usually runs with her, but didn't this time.

Alyssa and Amanda have always been the runners in our family. They both ran track in high school and in college. They have also both run quite a few road races, together. Amanda has actually run 4 or 5 marathons, Alyssa hasn't gotten quite that far yet, but there's still time. Alyssa hasn't run a race in quite awhile, so this is her first one in a bit. Amanda had something else to do, so Alyssa did this one on her own. She set a goal for herself and beat her time by almost 2 minutes. We all went to cheer her on. She did great! (unfortunately, I didn't get any action shots:-(, just before and after)
